He gives out weekly quizzes that always have extra credit on them and the 3 midterms have about 5 ex credit points each. There is a bug project where you get to raise a Manduca Hornworm and an easy paper as well. Raising a bug was fun and you have to keep a daily journal which isn't hard to do.
