Professor David Hogg is a GREAT lecturer, he loves entomology and he cares about his students. He even learned the names of students, even though Entomology 201 is a large class!Rate My Professors ↗

Professor Hogg is a very clear lecturer and really loves bugs. He gives out weekly quizzes that always have extra credit on them and the 3 midterms have about 5 ex credit points each. There is a bug project where you get to raise a Manduca Hornworm and an easy paper as well. Liked the class a lot and attending is recommended but not needed.Rate My Professors ↗

He is one of the best professors I have had. There are weekly quizzes but are fairly easy if you look through his powerpoints. All the quiz questions show up on exams and he offers a ton of bonus points. Raising a bug was fun and you have to keep a daily journal which isn't hard to do. There is one paper but that is graded fairly easy.Rate My Professors ↗
