All around great dude. Interesting lectures, and you can tell he cares about the subjects. Loves talking to students and is very helpful.

A fantastic lecturer! He's very engaging and you can really tell he loves talking about class material. There's a good amount of reading to do, but it's manageable enough. This class is completely unrelated to my major but it was definitely my favorite course this semester!

Pros: I really enjoy Prof. Fields's lectures! They cover very interesting and broad topics. I can see that he cares about his students, and he is passionate about teaching. Many readings (it's a history class, so it's fine). Recommend this course.

Professor Fields is a great and entertaining lecturer. His course guidelines and expectations are clear, and he provides all materials necessary for any student to succeed! He also encourages extracurricular academic engagement, always promoting relevant and interesting guest lectures that complement course materials!
