Lectures are all online but the most boring lectures you will ever watch. The content is extremely bland and doesn't teach you anything about nursing. Discussion posts are extremely tedious (each one might as well be an essay) and the TAs grade them way too hard. It is very manageable but don't take it as an "easy A" unless you have to.

Took N105 which was way too much work for a 2 credit class, but I enjoyed the class overall. He is really tough on perfect citations, but his him and his TAs were very receptives to emails. All lectures were online, even for f2f sections and all of his quizzes were directly from lecture or relevant readings.

This class is not beginner friendly and its canvas page is a mess. There's no accommodation, so if you think this would be an easy beginner class, don't take it. This class' lecture is also boring, so I would look for other easy A classes.

Dwyer was a great professor, kept his video lectures short and explained things well. Only things graded were quizzes, discussion posts on Canvas, and midterms. Nice class to take when trying to balance out difficult courses.

Dwyer was a very nice guy, clearly very passionate about what he taught. Assignments were well laid out in the syllabus, as long as you follow the schedule guidelines and implement feedback you'll be fine. Lectures were a bit slow at times, but he often added in things to try to make them more fun.

I think he's a pretty fair grader, everything is laid out clear in the syllabus and as long as you follow that you're golden.

Dwyer was okay, his lectures were boring af. His quizzes were incredibly hard for a beginner level class. TAs were very nitpicky about disc posts, APA formatting, which day of the week you posted on, etc. It is required for pre-nursing unfortunately, I learned nothing. It was very superficial info, I learned all of it in high school.

Keeps his lectures to the point and interesting. Quizzes are very manageable if you've done the necessary work. Discussion posts have higher standards, but it's usually an easy prompt and not too difficult to find an appropriate source. Projects are not too hard, but require lots of research. Highly recommend if you're looking at a medical career.

Dwyer is literally so boring and dry in his lectures. Easy class for the most part, except for when the TAs grade so hard for no reason. Anyways, Dwyer is simply so monotone and I could fall asleep to his voice the second I start the lecture. Take this class only if you need to. I wouldn't do it again tho.

I really enjoyed this class! Professor Dwyer's lectures were a bit slow at times, but always interesting. He ended every lecture by playing a different song, which made me smile. I wish my TA gave more feedback on discussion posts and papers, but she was an easy grader, so I can't complain! Important class for anyone who has ever seen a doctor.

Taking him for a bachelors nursing degree english class after already being a nurse. What a joke, syllabus very unclear... From comments on paper it seems he wants the paper to contain only source and no sentences from the writer. I mean if he wants the thing full of sources ill give him a source page and title page and he can go nuts...

Professor Dwyer's lectures were ones I watched on 2x speed because he's a slower talker. He does make a few dad jokes here and there that were endearing. My TA was ok, but she was a really hard grader when it came to weekly discussion posts. If you don't put in effort, you're not going to do well. The two papers you write have a clear rubric.

Professor Dwyer gives great insight into healthcare systems and allows students to come to conclusions using their own knowledge. Weekly quizzes are easy if you keep up with your work. Every week, I had a discussion post, lecture, and discussion of BBC Collab with quizzes every couple of weeks. There are 2 papers that are easy if you start early.

He seemed really passionate about the health care field and super knowledgeable. I enjoyed his lectures and they were never too long and always had funny endings.

Agree with others, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Harsh harsh grader. Not helpful at getting back to you about grades or how to improve. Have been in online BSN program for 5 semesters part time and this is by far the WORST professor I've had. Have complained to University multiple times.

Avoid him and this course AT ANY COST. He would take your points off for even the most trivial things. If you turn in your homework early, points off. Quizzes are all about numbers and details that you will NEVER pay attention to. Also be ready to read A TON of materials and take detailed notes and finish two long papers for a 2 credit course.

This professor's grading was inconsistent, making doing well on papers a moving target. He was significantly tougher on most students with the final paper, including lowering students' overall grades, but did not reveal grades and feedback until after the student course evaluation period was over.

This course is fine as long as you keep up with assignments. Quizzes can be hit or miss, definitely take good notes on his video lectures. Random specific questions tend to be pulled and put on quizzes. Grading is consistent and fair.
