I've never enjoyed an academic music class before Music 211. Doctor Crook is one of those people who makes you want to know more just by talking to him. He is someone with so much knowledge, and so much passion, that it is infectious. And his online materials were perfect. Always made us feel prepared for the exams and lectures.

Dr. Crook is amazing! He is passionate about music history and he makes his lectures super interesting and engaging. He wants his students to succeed and goes above and beyond as a professor. Truly one of my favorites!

Professor Crook gives energetic lectures every class, and he is clearly passionate about the material he is teaching. He makes his grading criteria clear for every exam, and he really wants to see his students succeed. I highly recommend any class with Professor Crook.
