Has a great ability to use humor and intelligence in the classroom. The class size was big yet we all received the individual attention we needed. One of the the best profs at NU.

One of the least helpful professors I've had at UW. Answered emails and questions condescendingly and with no helpful content. I spent 20-30 hours a week on this class and got a 96% homework average, but didn't do so well on the exams since they weren't very relevant to the homework. His grading scale is incredibly strict (95-100 A, uncurved).

The only downside to taking this class is that the exams are rather difficult. However, he is very clear and helpful.

Prof Kammer is a clear and concise lecturer and gets the points across very well. Unfortunately, he also teaches high level EMA courses and tends to make his exams overly hard (we're talking averages of a 60 or so) since his definition of a tough exam is very different.
