Comes across as a nice guy but quite honestly was a very bad professor. While he is able to speak on his industry experience, it seems like he has limited to no experience teaching. 3/4 of grades that go in are subjectively graded and there is no feedback. The other 1/4 is a simulation, which is essentially game theory and out of your controlbad.Rate My Professors ↗
Has 2 exams (final and midterm) which Carries 70% of your grade. In these exams, they are free response exams where you arent given specific feedback on what and where you could have done better. Very unclear of how he grades the exams and does not provide students with much opportunity to improve when they dont know what theyre doing wrongRate My Professors ↗
One of the best professors I've had at UW. Connects material to the real world, shares his experiences, cares about students and their time, and pushes real critical thinking skills. Can show up to simply learn and not be stressed out.Rate My Professors ↗
His midterm was 2 free response questions. Extremely open ended questions. He says there's no right answer and has no objective rubric. He admitted grading is heavily subjective and based on "application". Basically an english class and does not provide any feedback on your essay or clear guidelines on how to reach a certain score. Completely bs
