Dr. Cook is clearly very passionate about the content and everything presented in this class is extremely interesting. Attendance is necessary to do well in class because a lot of content is not on the slides. Content includes lots of studies to support big ideas, so know the details of these to do well on the short-answer only exams.

Good lecturer overall. Class had potential to be extremely interesting but he focused way too much on specific studies conducted rather than bigger pictures. Tests are graded very tough and mostly short answer. You HAVE to go to class, his lectures are mostly adlib and slides provide nothing. No book so exams based on lecture and a few assigments

Dr. Cook is clearly passionate about what he teaches. There is no textbook and he only posts a handful of online readings. While this is very budget-friendly, it also means that lectures are a must-attend in order to understand the content. Exams are mostly "short" answer so they are time-consuming and you have to have all the key words for credit.

Dr. Cook is awesome, and a great teacher. You can tell he really has a passion for the subject (and the research background to back it up). He gets to know the entire class by name and tries to spur discussion in lectures. Exams and subject material can be tough, but its just a matter of paying attention during his lectures.

This is an interesting class. Dane cook is a very good teacher and makes the class very interesting. His exams can be a little tricky but overall class averages are around 85%. You need to attend lecture to be able to do well on exams as there is no textbook for the class.

Dr. Cook is a great professor! Very friendly and loves his subject. However, some of the material required for exams, such as numerous studies and their results, is pretty useless if you are not going into research.The amount of material you need to learn for the exam is enormous and a ot of it is not exciting.I did not like this class at all.
