ENVIRST 251 is a really easy class, the lectures are interesting, there are no transcripts so you are forced to sit through the entire thing. There is a book you need to read but the subject matter is pretty interesting and you only need to read the relevant bits. A lot of the grade was also writing discussion posts but there are many opportunities

the class was fine it was well structured and he was good with communication. i wish he had uploaded some of the notes he used in lecture to canvas for us to look at separately from the video but it was an overall good class

Just needed the class for bio credit. Was online because of Covid-19. Interesting lectures, calming voice, and really interesting required book. I disliked exams because we had to regurgitate info we would probably forget, like a random fact about an insect in lecture. Aside from that, Cooper knows what he's doing and is really smart and passionate

Overall a wonderful professor. He cares and knows a lot about ecology and keeps the lectures interesting. Exams are not particularly difficult and there are lots of extra credit opportunities. Highly recommend him to everyone.

I loved this class! All you have to do is memorize the lectures that he posts online- it's simple stuff but, large in volume. I didn't bother going to class 80% of the time, but when I did, Professor Rosin showed exemplary passion and knowledge for what he was teaching. If you want 100%, read the textbooks as well. Lots of extra credit involved!
