He had his teaching assistants do the whole hour and 50 min class. When you talked to him he seemed mean and unapproachable. The class is super boring if you already have a lot of background in biology. I would recommend taking something else if you get bored easily.Rate My Professors ↗

This class is honestly the biggest joke. I did not learn a single thing throughout the entire semester. I would rather watch grass grow than sit through these lectures. Nothing is graded, no real material taught, and yet they'll give you a C at the end of it. This class shouldn't be offered as a serious college course. Similar to 2nd grade science.Rate My Professors ↗

Worst class ever. Entire class is group projects and outside of class busywork. Trimby doesn't teach, it's exclusively "teaching fellows" who are graduate professionals. It's a 2 hour lecture, and you literally do not learn anything, but you're still required to come. They take attendance and mark down if you leave early. Would not recommend.Rate My Professors ↗

Exploring Bio 100 was by far the most pointless class that I have ever taken. All you do is busy work all class period and group projects with students you were assigned to sit by. It's mainly taught by graduate or undergraduate students and the way they taught made me feel as though they were speaking to middle schoolers. Trimby did not teach onceRate My Professors ↗

Really stupid class. Waste of time but you have to go to get a good grade. Two big projects, otherwise just random topics. Would not recommend to anyone no matter what SOAR advisors say.Rate My Professors ↗
