CLASSIC example of the absent-minded professor. He digresses a lot during class, so is not worth it to go to lecture. I took him for a lab, so I was fortunate enough to have had a wonderful IA. However, Day made the quizzes and they were generally very unpredictable despite having been given a problem set.Rate My Professors ↗
Professor day was very scattered throughout his portion of the course. While he seems extremely knowledgeable he has a difficult time putting his knowledge out in a teaching format. He is unarguably the best professor ever in my college career. His lecture is super-interesting. I am usually tired due to the lack of sleep, but his lectures are so interesting that it's hard to fall asleep (I fell asleep in other boring classes). Chris Day was BY FAR the best professor I've had here. The class is really difficult but if you go to office hours it will help you immensely - he is also really flexible to meet whenever you need help, so that's good too. His accent is a bit tricky to understand sometimes, but overall he is a great professor and a great person.Rate My Professors ↗
by far one of the most scattered and unclear professors you will ever encounter in your college experience. Any and all good reviews for this man baffle me. His lecture style is essentially an impromptu conversation with the class. as a result, concepts are unclear and many test questions go off of random and highly specific facts from slides.Rate My Professors ↗
i thought he was very interesting to listen to, he really wants students to understand what he's talking about, but doesn't understands that its hard to speak up in a large lecture, so sometimes some things can be unclear. wished he would do more practice problems to get a sense of what kind of answers he was looking for. glad for the notecard!Rate My Professors ↗
