The homework solutions (HW is graded for accuracy) are available from her old class website. Quizzes are tough but a very small percent of your grade but tests are quite easy. Everything is pretty basic probability all you need to know is how to set up problems and use your calculator. They give a lot of partial credit.Rate My Professors ↗
Chen is the worst teacher in the department. Prepare to teach yourself all of the material as she will just read slides that are completely useless. If she puts something on a practice exam, ignore it and study the other topics from lecture. Find another textbook to learn from as the current book is absolute garbage. The worst teacher ever! I would rather roll naked through broken glass than take another course with her. She doesn't teach the material that we are tested on. She just took the notes from when she was TA for this class and didn't change a thing. The problem is that she wrote new exams that have nothing to do with class material. Horrible professor. Shouldn't be teaching this class. Her exams are very hard, and her LECTURES ARE POINTLESS She'll refuse to answer questions during lectures that students may have by saying that "since we've already covered this material in previous lectures, I won't answer that"..
