Charles Dill is great. He has passion for his work and it shows during his lectures, which manage to make Opera quite intriguing even to those with little or no interest. I got a "C" but only because I slacked hard and missed the generous extra-credit opportunity. Go to class, take notes, do the listening assignments and you'll be set.Rate My Professors ↗

I took this class for credit at first and did not expect it to be this fun and inspiring. Professor Dill is a awesome person. His knowledge about operas is astonishing and he lectures them in a very interesting way! The tests are fair, mostly come from his lectures so don't skip them! Chuck Dill is a great professor. The exams/ quizzes are very easy and there are so many extra credit points available that anyone can get an A. You need to go to lectures though because he writes everything on the board.Rate My Professors ↗
He seemed like a very knowledgeable person, and he was passionate about the material. However, often times the way he would present things in lecture did not make sense.
