Mandatory lectures 2x a week, where we would just discuss relevant topics and new grammar structures. Only 1 or 2 homework assignments a week that didn't take too long and were graded pretty easily. He is an all-around good guy. His discussions are involving and meaningful and he teaches in a way that isn't boring. He is relaxed with grading and will give extensions/pity points if you put in effort and actually participate. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a nice humanities class.Rate My Professors ↗

Got Covid-19 (the delta variant) before the first day of class even started, therefore I was going to miss the first week. I emailed professor Haas and he told me to drop his class because I was going to miss the first few lectures (instead of working with me or providing materials or simply recording lectures).
