Flipped classroom style learning with class lectures being mainly discussions practicing the material. Overall a great teacher and the course load is relatively easy.

Carlos is one of the best professors/teachers/educators I have ever had. I took Spanish 203 and 204 with him and he really helped me improve my Spanish skills. He also reignited my love for the language that I had lost during high school. He takes care of his students and really loves what he does. Honestly don't know where there is better.

I love Carlos! His goal is to improve your Spanish at any level, and he does a fantastic job. The class is heavily graded on participation, so for most of the class he has you talking instead of listening. If you do the HW + talk you'll be fine! He is also very understanding and funny! 11/10 would recommend his class to anyone learning Spanish!

Carlos is an amazing professor and made going to class very enjoyable. You can tell that he really cares about his students' progress and growth rather than their academic grade. I would 11/10 recommend him to anyone interested in learning a second language.
