About this rating

Raw average: 3.28/5 from 25 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Plays favorites and shows a clear preference for females when grading, other than that, the discussions are interesting, but her German is iffy at best.

I loved her. She really wanted everybody to do well, and she also recognized that I'm a shy person who doesn't really like being called upon in class. She always had a suggestion for me on my response papers and just wanted me to enjoy the class.

People just have to get used to Frau Love's style - she won't be your best friend, but she doesn't belittle people either. The most important thing is that she's an easy grader and the readings are at least enjoyable :D

The readings themselves are very interesting--they are not incomprehensible but they can be difficult because of the vocabulary. Frau Love often encouraged a "correct" answer versus a thought provoking one, and usually made me feel stupid.
