Perfect professor to have in intro psych. Lectures could be a little bit boring but there is a discussion in every lecture to ease your boredom. Homework quizzes are well-designed that would match the questions appeared in exams. As long as you do all the quizzes, exams are easy. There are extra credits opportunities as well.

Attendance is mandatory but he is the easiest PSYCH professor. If you do the weekly quizzes diligently you don't have to study much for exams.

Green is my favorite professor. He teaches material in a perfect way that students easily learn from. You can tell he genuinely wants the best for his students even outside of the classroom (drops lowest exam, refuses to make us pay for a textbook, lets us off on the day before Thanksgiving, etc.). His readings and quizzes are actually valuable.

Professor Green was my favorite professor I've ever had. He structures the class so well that it requires minimal studying outside of class. The class itself was very interesting as well.

I loved taking Psych 202 with Professor Green. The lectures were full of information and very entertaining. The tests never had any trick questions and only covered information we went over during class. If you pay attention and take notes you will get the grade you want. There's no final exam. Attendance is a huge chuck of your grade so SHOW UP!

Its not that he was an easy teacher because you defiantly have to do well in the class. BUT he was a good teacher. His tests were cumulative so you actually retained information. He posts old tests to study from which are SO helpful. He is overall just good at lecturing, interesting, and actually wants his students to do well. Fav teacher so far.

I felt the lectures were very interesting and engaging. Attendance is mandatory, but you do get two days where you won't get docked points. The homework is super easy, as well as spaced out, and the final is cumulative, as are all the exams. Do the extra credit and you won't have anything to worry about. Prof. Green's intro to psych class was amazing!!!!! The class was structured very routine-like and the assignments he had us do made it so studying for exams wasn't bad at all. I would take another class of his in a heartbeat. Also there is easy extra credit which can bump your grade a whole letter grade in the end of the semester.

He is by far the best teacher I have. The grading is very outlined and you basically just need to complete the pre and post module quiz every week and you will be prepared for the test. I don't know if the class was just easy or he was just an amazing teacher. Tests are just like practice and there is enough extra credit to raise you a grade level.

Take Psych with professor Green. The exams are extremely easy as long as you pay attention. Questions from the quizzes are recycled into the exam. Can earn 15 points of extra credit which can help boost your grade.

Make sure to take PYSCH 202 with Shawn Green. He is chill and awesome and wants you to really learn. Make sure to do the extra credit and show up to class and you will do good in the class. If you do the homework, show up to class, read over the reading, and do the extra credit you will succeed.

What a phenomenal professor. Seriously. In psych 202, we learn about science behind learning in the brain. He uses those same tactics, along with his own research, to build this class where we can learn in the most time efficient and effective way. Hes excellent, fair, and wants all of us to do well. Highly recommend and wouldnt want anyone else

Awesome professor! He truly applied the educational psychology that he taught us to every class which is reflected in the very high average GPA among his classes. He had a very well set up canvas page and created a nice routine for the class making it easy for students to manage their time. Practice quizzes/exams were very similar to the real ones.

You will get an A. He is more concerned about you knowing the material than a grade. He is awesome.

It truly felt like professor Green set this class up for students to be successful. He provides a lot of study tools and the grading is very fair. if you show up to most lectures and try on the assignments you will do well.

Professor Green makes the course and its material very easy to follow, and only assigns work that will genuinely help you to pass the class. As long as you show up to lectures and do the assigned work, you will easily pass this class. Amazing professor and class, would highly recommend.

This guy is the GOAT. Took this class online over the summer and he structures the course so well so that it is extremely easy to learn material. He also is just a cool dude and really cares about his students and their success. Need to take this course with Shawn Green if you get the chance.

He posts the lecture slides online; but you still have to come to class. He is the best professor at UW. He gives out extra credit opportunities. He is all around the best. A++ Take him if you ever take Psychology. Magnificent.

I would 100% recommend taking intro Psych with Green. He teaches in a way that a psychology professor should, implementing successful study habits through his pre/post lecture quizzes. You can tell he is passionate about the subject and wants you to comprehend the content, not just memorize it. Exams are exactly as previous exams that he provides.

Alight professor. It's a big intro class for a lot of majors.
