Bart is the kind of teacher that I wish I had more often. He pushes you to think critically and perform to the best of your ability. Not afraid to throw some humor into class.
Gave good and useful feedback, and grading was clear once he had graded it. However, before having graded it we were often not given instructions on what to do or what was expected and then had to learn this class "in hindsight", which was incredibly irritating at times. Was kind and connected to us despite being online.
Absurdly harsh grader and isn't an engineer so gets lost in technical details. Rude when grading as well.
This professor is not compassionate, and quite of a harsh grader.
Overall a solid choice for 397. Didnt get as good of a grade as I would have liked, but the class was taught well and graded fairly. What made the class difficult was that the grade is based on a few assignments.
This class is like that weird cousin you have. You know they are part of your family but you try to pretend they are not. So yeah, there is some important stuff in here but because it is engineering they lay on a ton of material. Bart puts a lot into this class and is very well spoken. He is a good instructor. This class should only be in the AM!
Great professor. He teaches a required class that no one wants to take but somehow having him as a professor made it better. He will not give you an A for fluff, and you have to participate in his class. He isn't going to give you a good grade without putting in the work, but he teaches the way classes should be taught. Very highly recommend him.
I came into this class with no interest, it was just a required class I had to take. But Bart knows his stuff, is well spoken and the class turned out to be incredibly useful for me. He's a tough grader and expects a lot, but if you put in the work you will come out far more prepared (especially if you're an engineer) for the business environment
