About this rating

Raw average: 1.75/5 from 4 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

MATH 112
Quality 2/5Difficulty 3/5
In person lectures made a lot of simple topics quite confusing than what I was previously taught in school. The exams and quizzes are difficult and you will find that some of them include questions that we never discussed how to solve. Overall, I would never take this class again.

Professor Oakley is a good guy however his quizzes and exams are a lot harder than what is taught in class. He gives us resources to study for like the previous quizzes and exams from last year but those are a lot easier than the exams given this year.

For what is relatively supposed to be a lower level/"easier" math class, this class was a lot harder than I had expected. Most of the learning you have to do outside of class on your own, because you won't take away much from the in person lectures.

Great guy and very understanding. The actual material for this class made a lot of sense and was easy but the tests will completely screw you over. It was open note and Im normally an A student but failed the tests. They were NEVER relevant to what you learned. One of our tests had a 52% average. This class is supposed to be low level and is not!!
