For a dry subject, Brook made the class pretty enjoyable. He wasn't the clearest lecturer, but he clearly had the students in mind when teaching. It was obvious that he cared about individual students and wanted us to do well. Homework and exams were hard, but fair. Go to class, do the homework, study, and you'll be just fine.
