Good professor, though almost all of the lectures are demonstrations that aren't on slides, so it's easy to forget what you learn in lecture. Definitely knows her stuff and teaches you a lot about design software, and runs a really well-organized class. It would be a 5 if there were some way to look back at the methods you learn in lecture.Rate My Professors ↗
Brooke is the best teacher I've had at Madison. She is a backbone of the design program. She is so willing to help, meet outside of class, and engages the students easily. I could not recommend more. She is phenomenal.Rate My Professors ↗
Brooke is an amazing instructor. I've had several classes with her, including DS120, 320, 323 and 624. I actually waited to take my final course with her during the summer session. Brooke has a very fun personality that makes her teaching both memorable and exciting. I've had several classes with her and she is very understanding and also teaches a lot of great lessons that can be used in the real world. Brooke is extremely talented and very helpful when you talk to her outside of class. However she reads word for word from slides so it is very hard to write everything down and she always seemed like a harsh and unfriendly person during lecture. Tests are easy as long as you know the material but the projects are VERY time consuming.Rate My Professors ↗
