I can see what people dislike about this professor, but I had no problems taking stat303 online. It is the pace of a 3 cred class that only lasts a third of the semester (hence why its 1 cred), which I wasn't aware of until taking it so I was a little overwhelmed with my workload. Stat 303 itself was not too bad; it was Bo Yang that made it miserable. He doesn't explain things well, and the lectures were not very good. For being a 1 credit class, definitely takes a lot of time/effort. I recommend a different professor, if possible. This course is definitely doable with him, as long as you can self-teach/spend lots of time.Rate My Professors ↗
Would not wish him on my worst enemy. His lectures are awful, he does not know how to teach, and he's full of himself. For his lectures he just copies some other guys code that you have access to on video anyways and claims it is his. Everything the other bad ratings say are 200% trueRate My Professors ↗
