Prof. Buenger is clearly knowledgeable about her topic, and a respected professor. However, she's also incredibly boring. It doesn't really matter if you pay attention in lecture or even attend at all, you can make it through the text. Makes you memorize long abstracts of text for quizzes, which is pointless, and her tests are unnecessarily hard.Rate My Professors ↗
She might be top-notch in her field, but she is a poor lecturer. Dry and boring, it was the class I used to catch up on sleep. Her sarcasm can be very offensive at times, and she is not very funny. If you have any opinion that does not mimic hers, I wouldn't share it. Any slight interest I had in art history has been diminished by her. Good luck.Rate My Professors ↗
Really intresting class. A distracted lecturer but very intelligent and intresting. Relatively easy course, very fair quizzes and exams. Gives excellent feedback for the papers and is a generous grader. INsane abouts of reading expected but you can get by if you don't read all of it.Rate My Professors ↗
Monotonous. My sleeping class. Despite that, very informative and interested to convey her lessons. Might use some "artistic" terms that needs to be clarified later. Needs long periods of concentration. Has a lot of extra credit.Rate My Professors ↗
She is very knowledgeable and very nice, however she talks very monotone and is very boring to listen to so lecture was difficult. The overall class is very broad so a lot of info is thrown at you. Exams were unclear as to what was expected of you, make sure to give evidence for EVERY argument you make and the papers were fairly easy.Rate My Professors ↗
