The course itself is interesting and easy to follow but the exams can be a tad bit challenging. The midterm was lengthy with tricky questions while the final was pretty straightforward. Just attend her review session before the final and you should be good. She is a lenient grader and really wants her students to learn. Lectures can be dry though.
The material is fairly straightforward and the professor is nice. There were some hiccups in the class as this was the first offering but all in all it was a pretty useful course.
She cares for her students but this was her first time taking the course and unfortunately, it showed. The material is not too difficult and the workload is manageable but the lectures are heavy. She updates the same set of slides before every class which causes a lot of confusion. The tests are incredibly long and slightly on the difficult side.
She is clear with grading criteria and what will be on quizzes and tests. Would recommend her for any class she teaches
Prof. Azadeh really knows the subject and it shows. The course is well-structured and the material is not too challenging. She is really helpful outside of the classroom too.
She knows the material very well and explains it thoroughly. Her quizzes and exams are extremely fair and grading is to the benefit of the student. An effort is a must to do well on the project. Overall, a great professor.
Davoodi was a great professor for the class. She really knew the material, and was able to explain it well. She is a fairly quiet person so I would recommend sitting in the front of the class. The class was a ton of work, but not very hard, you just have to put in the time. Also her exams were fairly easy, just study the practice ones.
I can definitely she knows the material inside and out, and shes is never afraid of giving you an answer. This doesn't mean her answers are very clear, however. She made the midterms fairly easyusual for a class that dumps a full data path custom layout, so hopefully you have at least one good partner. Accent isn't bad, but she rambles often.
Great prof
The lectures were fast enough to the point where I though I was not getting any of the information, but when I attempted to do the homework, I found that everything had been taught and covered properly.
Very enthusiastic professor. Knows the content, and knows how to deliver it.
Contrary to previous reviews, I found the lectures very useful. Davoodi is obviously enthusiastic about the material and knows it well. Extremely helpful and always available. Love the open door policy! Highly recommended.
