Ann is very passionate about the course material. The atmosphere she sets in her classroom encourages students to participate. She is quirky and engaging. The readings are easy to read and interesting.

Ann really cares about the material she teaches and encourages students to engage and wrestle with the material she presents. She chose super interesting topics relevant to both business and the environment and facilitated great discussion among students. Would recommend for anyone looking for an interesting business elective.

Ann is very good at engaging you with the material and wanting students to develop their own opinions about the material. Some of the aspects of the class were a little too technical for my experience, but still incredibly valuable knowledge to have. Glad I took this class

Ann is an incredible professor! I learned so much from her and she is a great person. Participation is a big part of your grade so make sure to go to class. Not a ton of work outside of a few big group projects.

I really enjoyed her and the class overall, and it was pretty easy. Some parts were a little too technical for me, not a business student, but it was very manageable. She's not super huge on grading, so pretty much giving a good effort in the class means you'll get at least a B. You have to buy a course packet - share with others to split the cost.

This class is depressing. It discusses environmental problems and offers no solutions for business to solve them. If you're already aware of our environmental problems, I would not take this class.

One of my all time favorite professors and classes. I took this for Environmental Science credit. Professor Terlaak is very engaging and passionate about the subject and makes the class very interesting. Participation matters so be sure to go to class, but the homework is light. There are a couple group projects and one page article summaries
