I mean, taking her ESL118 is not a horrible option. I know there are some "better" or "easier" options for ESL 118. She is nice, caring, and encouraging. I would say she is also a fair grader; just show your efforts, do work, and FOLLOW HER ADVICES ON YOUR ASSIGNMENTS, then you will receive an A.

She tried to be a nice professor, but the way she taught was not very helpful. Instead of lecturing, we had discussions every single class, and learnt nothing. The feedback she give to the paper was not clear, and you have to meet her taste instead of learn anything useful to get a good grade. She's not super tough grader, but you have to work hard

If you are really good at self-study and love revising papers, this class could be the correct choice.
