Prof. Lang was amazing when I took her (Fall 2024)! Good lectures, and tests were almost all from the slides. Never bought or read the book and got an A. Seems to genuinely care about her students and is passionate. Here lectures are most certainly not boring. I would recommend taking her, but this class isn't easy if you're looking for an easy A.

Great lecturer and knew what she was talking about! Tests were online and lecture covered everything. Homework was pretty challenging as it was worth less than 10 points, so a couple points off meant a bad grade. You had to explain everything in depth and it often wasn't clear what she was looking for in a response. Otherwise, I recommend!

A wonderful woman to speak to at office hours who will point you in the right direction for homework but thee homework is a bit challenging without this. Wasn't until my 3rd out of 5 did I get the hang of it (bad overall grade at semester start). Online tests were not as bad tho. Wouldn't have been as rough if I went to hours earlier imo.

Prof. Lang was an amazing professor, very personable, and made lectures very easy to stay intrigued as well as interesting. Went fast through lectures, but always posted slides after class. Would recommend her to anyone interested in weather or atmospheric sciences.

Tests were pretty much right off the power points which were posted online. The amount of time you spend studying depends on if you go to class or not. Homework at times was challenging. Overall she knew her material and that class was not difficult
