Amber cares about your learning and ensures you succeed on the group project. She gave clear feedback to our group and made sure to steer us in the right direction! Her class was hybrid, with lectures being online and in-class time dedicated to project work or guest speakers. I felt her lectures and assignments were easy to understand and simple.
A great, understanding professor who gives interesting online lectures and wants her students to succeed. Most of your grade is dependent on the weekly exam. The class averages were around 30/40 but I sincerely mean this: if you watch the lecture videos and take notes of the vocab from the eText for that module, you WILL pass with a good grade.
Amber is a great professor. She definitely knows the subject and content well. The tests are fairly easy as long as you read the book and attend lecture. The group project is somewhat annoying if you have a bad group, but Amber is super helpful answering any questions so it isn't too bad. Overall if you can take it with Amber, do it.
It's clear that she cares about her students. Forgot to turn in an assignment once, but I emailed her and she let me turn it in late. Group project is easy as long as you get a good group. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Model your Market Segment Analysis off of the sample. Tests are okay. First one was easiest imo. Lectures + reading are crucial
Professor Epp is a great teacher and shows that she cares about her students! The exams given are fair and the semester group project was explained step by step. Overall, she runs a well-organized class and I would recommend it!
Dr. Epp is the best professor I have ever had. She truly is amazing and is passionate about consumer behavior. I found this class super interesting and loved it!
Prof. Epp really cares about her students and about the subject she teaches. The class can get a little bit dry at times, lecture wise, but I found the textbook and in-class activities to be helpful! The class consists of 3 exams and 1 group project. If you go to class, pay attention to examples she uses, and participate, you should be fine!
Engaging and cares about her students success
Amber is great. The class is very fair. Her exams will go great for you, as long as you've been to lecture, studied a bit, and looked at her study guide. The group paper is a major pain, but as long as you put in the work, and go to her office hours, you should get an A in the class!
Amber is super nice and understanding. Class is very straightforward - read textbook, go to lectures, study guide is given for each exam. Content/lectures are a bit boring - content wise
Amber is the nicest teacher ever. She has amazing guest lectures and is always available to help. She wants people to do well in her class. She is a really great teacher that cares for her students! There's 3 exams and a group project. You do need to read the textbook for the exams but they are not that hard and she gives you a study guide
I don't understand why she makes us read such dull textbooks chapters, to learn what an "attitude" or "behavior" is. It's insulting to our intelligence. What good is teaching us vocab words and testing them on a multiple choice exam going to do in the real world? It is the opposite of thinking creatively and getting to come up with our own ideas.
Dr. Epp is great! The class is very interesting and she breaks up lectures with group activities. Although the class paper is long, she gives a few check-in's to break up the work, and you get to choose your group. She is available for feedback and really cares about her students. Tests are fair. I would take her again!
Amazing professor who is passionate about what she teaches. The class had a decent load of work and was very educational.
Amber was one of my favorite professors I have ever had. So kind and very willing to help you with anything - she tells you to call her on her syllabus if you need help! Very explicit with what she wants from you and gives study guides for every exam. I highly recommend taking her if you have the chance.
She's very nice and understanding. Tests you only on the material that is included in the study guide. Very fair, easy to understand. Would Recommend.
Amber is a good professor. She is really nice and keeps lectures light and easy- also very based off book. Her exams on the other hand can get really tricky- way more then you would ever expect. The group project is also a lot more work then you'd think. Start studying early and stay on task!
Amber was an incredible teacher. She is so kind and personable. Her lectures were clear and easy to follow along, and her exams were fair. If you show respect and want to learn, then you will do very well in her classes. Her projects were interesting and the material made it easy to know what we needed to do. I highly recommend Amber as a professor
Amber is super sweet, and despite some of the comments I thought she was a good teacher! If you take your time to meet with her she is extremely helpful and willing to help you out.
Thinks reading out loud is teaching. Clearly in command of the subject matter but a moat separates her from direct student contact.
Amber somehow manages to make an interesting subject unbearable. Avoid her at all cost! Exams were unnecessarily hard, homework pointless, and lectures come from the textbook. She should set the expectation early that she is an awful grader...
Amber is a nice person but a horrible professor. She doesn't know how to engage a class in discussion or provide case examples. Everything I learned came straight from the text.
Unfortunately, Amber adds nothing to the lecture. If you read the textbook then you can pass every exam. Her in-class examples are drawn strictly from the book and she is terrible at going in depth about the material. I was very much disappointed in her subpar teaching.
This graduate level course is taught like an undergraduate survey class. Amber fails to elevate the class beyond mere definitions. Get the syllabus, Google the course topics, read Wikipedia and you'll save yourself the time of sitting through class.
Amber is really nice and very helpful. She wants you to do well. Her exams are fairly straightforward, but are graded on a point scale. You need a 93% for an A. Course project is tricky and she grades harshly, but she is willing to help throughout the project.
Amber is very nice and the course is interesting, but she is a REALLY tough grader. I always thought I did well on exams and project/presentation, but consistently received lower scores. She takes off points for the smallest details. Exam questions often come directly from the book, so make sure you review it before a test.
Amber is a great professor! She is clear, helpful, and her lectures are for the most part really interesting. She gives out study guides for the exams which really help. She is really helpful and genuinely wants people to do well in her class. Definitely take this class!
amber was a GREAT professor, and the class was fairly straight forward. class participation is marked by in-class exercises and daily attendance sheets, and the midterms are all easy if you memorize the necessary terms. final project is interesting and not too intensive.
