Amanda smith is HER. Her instruction is very engaging and she does an amazing job breaking down complicated subjects.

Super fair grader. Exams were based off stuff she would purposely review in class. Very helpful and understanding.

Professor Smith is the best professor in the ISyE Department. She made a historically difficult class very manageable, homework wasn't too bad, and the exams consisted of fair questions. She answered questions online and during her office hours. She never made things harder than they needed to be and focused on the underlying concepts over mastery.

Great professor and very caring towards students. Lectures were clear and lecture slides available outside of class. Coursework was manageable with hw being weekly canvas quizzes that covered the current week's material. Group project can be tedious, but all the criteria is very clear, and she was always willing to answer questions after lectures.

If you took AP Stats the class is easy and treated as an intro course. She explained topics well and had sufficient review. The group project is quite a bit of work, so stay on top of it. Homework was 45% of your grade, so doing well on the assignments made the tests less stressful. She answered questions online quickly and was fair with grading.

The class was very easy. No homework, just a few short assignments after lecture for participation credit. The project was easy as well and practically everyone got an A. Most lectures were guest speakers, so it's hard to judge her teaching, but I learned a lot nonetheless. She cared about her students and answered any and all questions too.
