Dr. Prasch is extremely passionate and knowledgable. She explains everything so well and makes even complicated concepts understandable and interesting.

Dr. Prasch is very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching, and it shows. She is one of the best professors I have had here. The content was super relevant, and the readings were helpful, but they were not required to do well in the class on a day-to-day basis, which I appreciated. Definitely would recommend taking one of her classes.

Dr. Prasch was my favorite professor this semester. Her lectures are engaging and she is extremely responsive to her students both inside and outside of class. She is organized, professional, and incredibly knowledgable. I didn't find CA 369 to be difficult, but attendance/participation were graded, so you have to go to class!

Dr. Prasch was great! She's one of my favorite professors at UW-Madison. She's great at speaking and doesn't just read from the slides, so going to lecture is essential. The class is relatively writing-heavy and really forces you to engage with the texts, but in a manageable way. For our last class she bought us donuts :)

Dr. Prasch is amazing! She makes an effort to cover a diverse range of topics. If you do the readings, attend classes, and take good notes, you will do great in this class. Dr. Prasch is very knowledgable about the topics she teaches and clearly communicates them to her students which makes the content easy to learn even if it's challenging.

Best professor I have ever had. Super passionate about her class and topic, doesn't just read off the slides, gives super thorough examples, and is always super prepared. Great public speaker and entertaining/thought provoking lectures. She also has the best business professional outfits. Exams did not have surprises as long as you go to lecture.

Dr. Prasch has been my favorite professor so far at UW. She is super energetic which makes lectures interesting. Attendance is not mandatory in lecture but going makes the weekly discussion posts much easier. No midterms/regular exams, just one final exam and weekly discussion posts. I highly recommend taking this course!

I can not say enough good things about Prof. Prasch. Clearly an expert in her field, very knowledgable, incredibly caring. The class is fascinated if you are interested in foreign policy and presidents, only thing to be aware of is that it is a ton of reading and writing. Excellent choice for an advanced CA class, she is amazing

Prasch is an awesome prof! She's extremely knowledgable on politics, and open-ended to perspectives from all students. CA360 is kind of a lot of work, with a discussion post and checkout reflection essay each week. Lectures are super interesting with a lot of videos. The weekly readings are sometimes long but easy to read. (usually only 1 reading)

Dr Prasch is an awesome lecturer. Engaging, knowledgable. The TAs are great. This class is a lot of work with three discussion posts each week, and the tests are INSANELY long (take-home) and a ton of work - but there are only two of them. If you go to lecture, you will understand the content.

Allison Prasch is very passionate about the content she teaches as well as the students. She's always willing to help outside of class and is flexible with coursework. I would definitely take more classes with her.

Dr. Prasch is an excellent professor and she really cares about her students. She provides comprehensive study guides for exams and is open to student feedback and suggestions about exam structure. Papers are graded pretty rigorously but she provides clear expectations and if you fulfill them, you will do well. Highly recommend her and CA 360.
