Professor Huneeus is a sharp woman and is extremely knowledgeable in the field of international law. She is a harsh grader and will not give you an A unless you've absolutely earned it. Reading is extremely important for this class, so read EVERYTHING! You have to compete with other students, but, at the end of the day, you will learn a ton!

Group discussions are great if you participate, lectures can be challenging but great if you get in the flow. Great course to take!

the class can be challenging but she explains things well and helps us understand better

Amazing lectures if followed along correctly and a good amount of reading, discussion in class is important to be apart of. Overall great experience and learned lots.

Great lectures, learned a lot and strong a voice.

Prof. H can come across as slightly airy, but once you get the hang of her lecture style, she can be an amazing teacher. She is very well versed in international environmental law (subject of the course I took). As an honors-only class, there were lots of readings and relatively rigorous papers (two papers, 5 and 12 pages).

Professor H has good intentions, but it is so hard to follow whats going on in the class even if you do the readings and go to lecture. Takes a long time to respond to emails (week or more). Expects perfect grammar, but her own papers and slides are filled with errors. Overall class should be easy but is somehow one of the hardest of undergrad

Her lectures jump all over the place and are difficult to follow. She posts her slides online which helps somewhat. This class is heavy discussion, yet Huneeus feels the need to interrupt anyone who tries to contribute which is extremely frustrating and discourages discussion. Get ready to read upwards of 2 hours for each class.

This class could have been super interesting, unfortunately, the professor really dulls down the subject matter. Lectures are confusing and hard to follow. Expectations aren't clear and it's hard to determine what the overall goal of each lecture, and the class more generally is.

You can tell she really knows the material and is an intelligent woman, however I don't think teaching is for her. She contradicts herself, lectures aren't that organized, assigns a lot of work for a 3 credit class, and glares at you while you talk with a specific face that makes many very uncomfortable to participate.

I found her lectures to be well structured and interesting. Dr. Huneeus has a demonstrated passion for teaching and research, and I would recommend her classes to everyone.

Amal Clooney wannabe. I hope she become part of Walker's budget cuts because she literally has no idea how to teach or make anything remotely clear.

Great class, teacher really thourough and clear. Interesting material and engaging topics. Loved it! Definitely recommend it.

I regret taking this class. If you work hard and do the reading, you can get a decent grade, but it's not worth it. I would rather take a hard class where I actually learn something than a class like this. Also, the organization makes no sense- if you don't go to lecture, you won't understand how she approaches the topics at all.

She's very smart, and definitely tries hard but I felt that her lectures were kind of unclear and all over the place. The discussion for this class is structured poorly and doesn't do much to back up the concepts. I would say that this class is going to be largely self taught, don't recommend unless you really need it.

Awful. I do not recommend taking a class with her
