Lovely chap and very interesting class. Strongly recommend.

Meehan's course is the perfect choice **for those interested in philosophy**. The selected readings are inspiring and worth reading. The grading though is weird. TA told me she has to grade more than 60 people's essay. And every time TA would duct your points for reasons she made up, and arguing with her could get the points back but painful.

I DON'T recommend this course to anyone who has never learned philosophy because I wish I had known some knowledge on philosophy before taking this course. TA (Not Alex) was very transparent however tough grader. This course is a lot of thinking and rereading of the readings and lectures. It's very reading-heavy and writing-heavy.
