Brilliant Teacher, and my favourite. Made things so easy to understand, very very interesting and fun. Same with everyone else on the homework comment - way too much!!!! But very useful.

MATH 221

horrible!!!!! who teaches calculus without a book? No reference to follow if you have questions(and I had a crappy T.A. as well). 100 plus homework problems each week...if you have any doubts about calculus choose another lecturer. By far the worst class I had at Madison -

This man is god. I had him as a freshman for 221 and despite the large amount of work and hours put into the course, if you survive this class, you are set for any other math class at Madison and will sail through it. Also, don't invest in a textbook for 221 because he never uses it-all homework is made up by him and on his website to be printed of
