She's an authority on American constitutional law & I have never seen such a talented, devoted and inspirational teacher in my whole life. Her course is really good and she helps students a lot, I don't know why all the people hate her when she's a true human being. I would recommend her courses for all the law students, she's a living legend.Rate My Professors ↗

Professor Althouse has a bad reputation because of her semi-political blog. She is known as one of UW-Madison's few out-spoken conservatives. However, she is brillant and fair with her tests. Be warned though, she expects each student to be prepared for each class. Moreover, she asks the most confusing questions. Read slowly and listen actively!Rate My Professors ↗
If you can, avoid her! She's seriously awful! No one at the law school has any idea how she attained the rank of Professor. Drop her! Now! (Or don't register for her if you haven't already)!Rate My Professors ↗
Her final Con Law exam did not test the material of the course and there was no semblance of fairness in the way she graded. Althouse gave no comments or feedback when questioned about the exam/grade. She is a compeltely unfair and ineffective prof, not to mention a Scalia nut. Bleh. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!Rate My Professors ↗
She is horrible. Avoid her like the plague. Her exams do not test the material well at all. Worst prof. ever.Rate My Professors ↗
If you are looking for a clear understanding of Con Law, STAY AWAY from Althouse. A blithering, incomprehensible idiot.Rate My Professors ↗
