Loet's was a really great professor. My class had no papers and was instead based on exams which was really nice. The exams were easy work if you did the readings and paid attention in lecture. Fair warning: She doesn't allow electronics of any kind during lecture and will take 1% off your final grade for each offense.

Professor Loets was a great teacher! Lectures can be kind of long sometimes and content heavy, but it is much more fun if people are engaged in conversation. She constantly makes jokes during class and gives note packets which make reviewing for the exam and just keeping up in general much more simple. Would recommend!!

The lectures can be boring if you have no interest in philosophy or any personal beliefs regarding the things you discuss in the class, but if you do, then the class is fun because you can try and argue against what some of these philosophers are saying. For a 4 credit class, the reading is fast but a bit annoying to understand. Overall, easy class

Despite what I see below, she clearly took that feedback and made a 180. Her lectures are engaging. The class can be boring at times but she does her best to keep you engaged. She also cracks funny jokes about philosophy. Point being she cares about you succeeding in her class. Would recommend to anyone who needs a gen ed req.

Super engaging lectures. Lots of reading but they were discussed in class. The exams were very easy and everything was talked through in lecture and discussion.

This is the first philosophy course I've taken and I quite enjoyed it. I had to put an expected amount of effort into weekly readings and quizzes to do well, but nothing too crazy.

Great introduction to philosophy that sets up a basis to explore further into the subject. The papers are well-spaced out and the quizzes are simple if you just put moderate effort into the readings. Never felt overwhelmed. Some people found no tech and mandatory attendance too hard for some reason, if you can manage that it's a great course.

This course was easy, entertaining, and educational, you just had to put in a moderate amount of work. Papers are graded generously. Quizzes are short, straight from the reading. Lectures contain a lot of opportunity interesting discussion by students. For some reason showing up to lecture and doing readings was hard for my classmates.

This class made me decide never to take another philosophy course again. Lectures are mandatory and there is no way to engage as she gives handouts of everything she says in class. There are two weekly quizzes and four papers. Not many people participate, and when someone does and it's not something she likes, she dismisses you. No technology.

Annina is a knowledgeable professor but not a good teacher. She dominated lectures and discussions that often left the class uninterested. She never realized the class was not invested in many topics and would also criticize students who had contentions with the readings. To succeed in her class, you must closely follow her expectations.

I dropped her Philosophy 101 class right after going to it. She makes it very clear that she wants her class prioritized and that she "wont go easy" on the students in her class. Her words not mine. She takes 1% off your final grade if you're caught with any device out. She assigns a lot of reading as well, and chewed out a girl on the first day
