Never more disappointed in a Spanish prof. Didn't follow her own syllabus or grading criteria - subjective, harsh grader. All around difficult to work with. Nice if you went in to ask questions, but was too demanding for this class. LEARN THE VOCAB. We didn't do anything helpful in class - all pointless busywork on our own. $150 Book used twiceRate My Professors ↗

Loved this class in the beginning, now hate it. Professor doesn't follow her own rules. Grading criteria for both journals and exams is completely made-up and changes depending on how she feels. Believes that because ALL of the students do poorly on tests, we don't care about school (even though we're all at least 4th years & all *pre-medicine*)...Rate My Professors ↗

We never know what will be on the exams. She copies & pastes random articles off health websites for us to translate, but that's not exactly good study material for what we learned in class. If you don't pick up your journal in time, you'll get a 0. She expects you to know everything but is not clear on expectations at all.Rate My Professors ↗

I did not work with her directly, only through a TA, Monica Styles. However, when I would email her as she was the course director, she would not do anything! her TAs had no uniformity among their grading techniques which really screwed over out class yet she never looked in to it, despite a class of 25 all emailing her the situationRate My Professors ↗
