Worst professor ever. I can not believe why such a professor would be hired in this university? She made interesting and easy staff much more boring and confusing. No other words to say, do not take her course!Rate My Professors ↗
Dr. Dassow was such an sweet professor. She knows a lot about the subject and was really helpful in office hours. Her tests are pretty tough, but there's extra credit available, and she goes through all the questions and usually gives back a few points for the overly difficult questions. She is awful. Her slides are super cluttered and she goes through them so fast that you can't keep up. She doesn't know how to explain things so they makes sense. Bio was my favorite class and she made me not want to go to lecture. Just bad overall. The other two professors were great and her section was kinda short, but it was painful.Rate My Professors ↗

Dr. Dassow is very passionate about what she teaches, the only problem is she can't. She knows her material, but has a hard time conveying it to students. The Bio 101 class is split into three professors, and she is the second. She constantly says "this test is usually the worst performed" because she is worst teacher of the three.Rate My Professors ↗
Her lectures are confusing and very detailed. Doesn't do a good job explaining the material. I learned more from the book than from lectures. It's better to print off the slides than using a notebook to write notes because her lectures are very fast paced and it's easy to not write everything down.
