I really liked her! Even though I'm not a sociology major she was super helpful and made her lectures interactive and relatable. Angela was a wonderful teacher. Unbiased, and very interesting in hearing student's opinions and facilitating in-class discussion. Her material is thought provoking, and lectures are very engaging with a mix of powerpoint, videos, and discussion questions. Not a very good lecturer. She's entertaining but the material she talks about in class lacks content. Really encourages class participation which is good because you hear some really stupid comments from students. She has someone else grade the tests so you need to talk to her if you're unhappy with the grade. Good job at being unbiased.Rate My Professors ↗
Enthusiastic and energetic teacher. Very interesting subject matter. 1 quiz/ 1- page-paper per week, but no exams. Pretty easy grading scale with manageable work load. The reading is all scanned online but was usually not necessary anyways. She is still a grad-student, but very good. Overall good classRate My Professors ↗

She is a great teacher and keeps the class fun and interesting. The class is a TON of work for a three credit class though... 60-100 pages of reading per week, a typed reading reponse paper due each Friday, a quiz each Monday, and two other large papers due.
