Although the lectures were a bit dry and he tended to jump all over the place the material was fairly interesting. It's by far one of the better classes to take for your C or D column requirement if you're a bio major. The test averages are low but there's a generous curve and he's very helpful one on one during his office hours.Rate My Professors ↗

If I could rate him worse I would. Disgusting tests and quizzes. Pretty sure I learned nothing. Don't recommend taking unless they get a new professor, or a monkey to teach the class.Rate My Professors ↗

Absolutely the worse course I have ever taken. DO NOT take this class unless required. Utterly useless when it comes to teaching, considering the unadjusted exam scores were all in the D range. It's as if he's trying to trick the class by being confusing.Rate My Professors ↗

Changes nomenclature in the middle of the class, it started at rate of fixation, then rate of substitution, then for the exam it changed to rate of turnover. Quiz and exam questions are convoluted. Lecture is unhelpful, take some other class, ecology of fishes (its a football player class)Rate My Professors ↗

terrible, book is the only thing that saved me. just word vomits during lecture. no connections between points, just important things here and there, structure needed. bad question writingRate My Professors ↗

If you're in this class, you're most likely a science major, yet he teaches the class as if it were filled with journalism and fashion design majors. His lectures are mind-numbing, considering he takes the WHOLE class to discuss one concept that can be summed up in a paragraph.Rate My Professors ↗
