Solid teacher. Subject is fairly interesting but not very challenging. As such, many students ended up skipping or zoning out during class. She tries her best to spice up lectures but gets flustered easily. Tests are easy.Rate My Professors ↗
Andrea is smart professor but scatterbrained. Lectures are great but not always clear. However, she is more than helpful at office hours & exams are extremely fair. Lecture and discussion not mandatory. 2 midterms (better score counts), cumulative final, 5 graded homework assignments (4 best scores count). She is a nice person and she really knows her stuff. However, her lectures are boring and she always look very disorganized. She tends to talk too much in class. You are better off just reading her slides on your own, which she posts online. She willing to stop and answer questions in lecture though. I recommend a different course. Discussion was 20 times more helpful than lecture. Andrea is not a top professor, she almost seems scared when lecturing, but she does really want students to succeed, almost too much. All in all, I didn't find the class difficult, but also didn't find the material interesting at all, which is the reason I took it..Rate My Professors ↗
Andrea's lectures are kind of unclear and she seems flustered at times but you can tell that she truly wants her students to succeed. 5 homework sets, 2 exams (the better grade is the only one that counts) and a final.
