Dr. Dutton was a phenomenal teacher in this class, her lectures were definitely heavy in content, but you learn very quickly that she is extremely knowledgeable in this field of study. She is also very accommodating, allowing for late turn in within reason. i would highly suggest taking a class with her.Rate My Professors ↗

Dr. Dutton is clearly extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her field! She also cares about her students and provides good feedback and assistance. I loved her class. Her lectures are really interesting and made me genuinely want to pursue geology as a second major. Workload is super manageable, with no exams or writing assignments, and it's not hard to do well. Definitely a low stress class. Plus, she's really accessible and down to earth. Very nice, accommodated me while I was having a hard time. Quiz and homework assignments every week along with a lab assignment. There were also assignments to reflect on every lecture that week.Rate My Professors ↗
