Had Dr. Seeger for Math 721 and 725, and he is a wonderful teacher. The lectures are a tremendous guide if you read the textbook first and try to stay ahead. It makes some of the technical details and concepts more intuitive and clear. The exams are incredibly fair, and he genuinely wants you to succeed. If you love math, take Seeger.Rate My Professors ↗

Seeger is a good professor, as lectures are the most helpful thing. His proofs were well-explained, and the tests were difficult but always based on the material in class.Rate My Professors ↗

Seeger is fairly nice about grading and gives a lot of partial credit. He also wrote the textbook for this class so it is easy to review if you miss lecture. Homework was challenging and slightly long for a week, but he helps during office hours if needed. Midterms were easy, but the final was hard; be prepared to memorize definitions.Rate My Professors ↗

Professor Seeger took over class about 1/3 of the way through the year, and he was very accommodating. He made himself as available as possible outside of class, encouraged us to ask questions, was fair about homework deadlines, and provided review sheets that prepared us for the exams. Excellent professor.Rate My Professors ↗
