This was a very good class. You are graded on participation in this class based on attendance and your contributions in lecture, but the points are not hard to get at all. There are readings to do every other day and they can be long, but I would say that you could get by with not reading some of the texts. The TA is also really nice and helpful.Rate My Professors ↗
She's alright. Sometimes lectures were interesting, and sometimes they were boring. She assigns readings twice a week, some of them are 2-4 pages, but then some are like 16 pages. The discussion post are completion grades, and the essays are straight forward, but she isn't clear how she wants them. Also, no technology is allowed which is annoying.Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Schechtman is a gem! Her lectures are super interesting and clear. The topic is about the meaning of life, and everything is structured and related to this topic. I would say that getting an A can be hard. The papers and exams are not easy, and you have to really put into a great amount of efforts.Rate My Professors ↗

The work itself is not very hard, only some readings and even if you don't really read you can get past just by scanning through or going off what is being said in class. Most was based off participation but not the best at explanations. She also took really long grading essays and was not specific on what she wanted which led to bad grades.Rate My Professors ↗
