Moser has no business teaching an honors course. She refuses to answer questions during review sessions and class, and instead tells students to look it up in the book. I will have to retake Genetics because I didnt learn anything in this class. If you care about your GPA do not take Biocore.Rate My Professors ↗

Amy hardly teaches concepts in class, she is unable to clearly get the point across and you leave class confused as to what you were supposed to learn. You have to read every page of the textbook she assigns if you want to even have a chance at understanding how to complete the problem sets. Disorganized lectures, presented at a more advanced level than necessary or understandable. Can't ask questions in class without being openly derided, and then the answers aren't clear anyway. Never clearly defines what she's talking about. I stopped going to lecture and just read the textbook to pass. In-class p-sets graded for participation.Rate My Professors ↗

Horrible professor. Lecture speed is too fast and unorganized, too much background information assumed, doesn't have lecture notes, unclear presentation of concepts. Follows the textbook closely, so reading is very helpful. Study the learning objectives and read the book and you'll be fine on the exam; I didn't study lecture notes at all.Rate My Professors ↗

Ineffective lecturing style was consistently scattered and assumed far too much background information for an intro-level class. If students came in to ask questions, Moser openly taunted and made fun of them--both privately and to their peers in class.
