Amos Ron is an intriguing guy, but possibly the worst professor I've ever had. He rambles on about material unrelated to class about half the time. He has given almost zero examples for Theorems and Lemmas, and his phrasing for Quiz questions are incomprehensible even for native English speakers.Rate My Professors ↗

His lecture material on Canvas hasn't been updated since the 90's. Many students in class often confused about assignments, grading, and material. He had no syllabus, only rambles as announcements that discussed vague grading. Lecture's often become rambles and deviate from the online material. Would not recommend at all.Rate My Professors ↗
Amos Ron is a very intriguing guy. It is obvious that he is quite knowledgeable in many areas beyond the topics in this course. One of the most complex grading schemas i've ever had, but it's in favor of the students. He is really funny and nice to talk to. Lectures get quite difficult at a point, and the exams are hard but overall I learned a ton.Rate My Professors ↗
While the overall content is not that difficult, you will truly never know where you stand in the class. Amos's grading is very ambiguous and he curved to his liking which is somewhat stressful. He also is not the best at understanding specific questions so ask broadly about the topic and just hope he reaches is eventually.Rate My Professors ↗
Amos is definitely one of the most interesting professors I have met. He tells joke from time to time, most of them are really funny. The homework and quizzes are well designed so that they give you a comprehensive understanding of the materials lectured in class. Do make good use of them. He has heavy accent but bearable. Exams are hard.Rate My Professors ↗
Engaging and eccentric lecturer, gives a decent amount of homework. Biggest issue was communication. Canvas was not updated with correct grades for the whole semester, confusing grading policy, failure to respond to emails, and submitted grades 3 days past grading deadline. Good professor overall, but unnecessarily stressful.Rate My Professors ↗
