Amber Watts is amazing! I had her for CA250 and took a CA613 course with her. She gives really fun and interesting lectures and truly makes class enjoyable! She's teaching in Texas now but was one of my favorite professors during college!Rate My Professors ↗

Taking Com 250 with Professor Watts has been a great experience this semester. She is extremely knowledgable about America's media history (especially in the TV industry) and is a fun lecturer to listen to. For the tests, just study the lecture notes she posts and you will do fine. If you are interested in the media industry, take this class.Rate My Professors ↗

Just not a great professor. Tries to be youthful and relatable, comes off as just unintelligent. Spends most of her time presenting her desperately shallow understanding of american social history. Speaks almost entirely in cliches and often fails. "seamy underbelly"Rate My Professors ↗
Fun, interesting class. She knows how to teach. Finally - a professor that actually KNOWS how to teach! She's new to the university, but very knowledgable and passionate about her subject. As long as you go to lecture (especially to watch the clips - important for the exams!) and take decent notes, you're fine. Discussion, however, is dispensible.Rate My Professors ↗
