Weekly assignments are tedious and the quizzes in unit 1 are difficult. The movies are hit or miss, but the weekly write ups on them aren't too bad once you get the hang of it. The class seems to get much easier throughout the semester.Rate My Professors ↗
Movies are pretty lame, but pretty easy class to take. Her grading isn't too hard and fair. The DIY projects are not hard. Mostly lectures and movies. Don't need the textbook for any work or reading.Rate My Professors ↗
Amanda does a great job of relating what you read in the textbook to how you can utilize it in your own speeches. When you submit a speech she gives amazingly detailed feedback and really wants her students to succeed. She adds in jokes here and there and even though English wasn't my favorite subject, I really enjoyed going to her class.Rate My Professors ↗
Amanda is very knowledgeable and cares about her students. The class is a breeze, and she has instilled skills in me that I will use for the rest of my life. One thing I did not like about her is that she made her political views very obvious and it seemed that she would almost try to change her students viewpoints to hers.Rate My Professors ↗
Amanda is a very good instructor, but you don't want to get on her bad side (which she seldom shows). She does a real good job explaining the concepts and helping you with your speeches. I would definitely reccommend if you have the opportunity.Rate My Professors ↗
