Ugh this class is such a waste of time. The recorded lectures were so boring and I watched the first few but then just stopped cause its a pretty big waste of time. The resume/cover letter units were pretty much the only helpful parts of this. This class is far too easy and monotonous. The online lectures are very boring because she has a very scripted tone while teaching. I did learn some valuable things, but the class could have been condensed by a lot. I spent a lot of time answering unnecessary questions about each module that didn't facilitate any learning.Rate My Professors ↗
This class is absolutely terrible. Considering it is a career prep class that is only worth one credit, it is rather unfortunate that many taking the class already have jobs lined up after graduation (including myself). There is sooo much to read/do for this ONE CREDIT CLASS. Even though it is not difficult, there is a lot of tedious work that takes up A LOT of time. This class should be at least two credits.
