Caveat emptor. I would caution anybody living in the 21st century from taking a section with Alice. I am certain that she succeeds at her own research, but this does not translate into an impactful instructor. For a class in the humanities, I was honestly aghast at how colorblind and insensitive some of her statements came across in discussion.
