I took his English 100 class in the fall of 2020, so during covid. everything was asynchronous and there was a total of like 2 major papers and that's literally it. There were weekly discussion posts and group work but that wasn't difficult at all. I met with him once during the semester and that was literally it.Rate My Professors ↗
Alex is a pretty understanding instructor. I thought he was a bit intimidating at first but he is the kind of instructor that is always willing to work with you only if you meet him halfway. Email is the best way to contact him. Although I am not one for group work I found the projects to be interesting.Rate My Professors ↗
Alex is a nice person, but he does not excel at being a TA. He does not reply to emails, even ones he asks you to send him, and kind of sits in front of discussion asking the same person who does all the reading to answer everything. Info is conveyed adequately but you will hate every minute of it.Rate My Professors ↗
